The Best App . Period.

This app is not only a better Music app, but it combines my FLAC library with the regular library! Too many audiophile features to love in this app I cant praise the developers enough. Goodbye to my previous FLAC playing app. Continuous updates make this app even more likable, the FLAC library sorting was much needed. Keep the updates coming though, theres room for improvement !

Broken on iOS 9

This used to be a great app, but it no longer seems to work under iOS 9. I cant get any sound out of it at all anymore.

App does not work!

Simply doesnt work

If you like music, you will love this app

Me likes.

Best sounding music app

When I think of 3D expansion enhancements, I think gimmick. There are many that clobber your ears with phase flips, heavy EQ filtering and bass/treble/bulk level boosts. While these might invoke an initial wow response, you wouldnt want to listen to your music like that for extended periods. It compromises fidelity and becomes fatiguing. So I was very surprised when I tried CanOpeners Crossfeed effect and found that it had a satisfying widening effect with zero perceivable tonal colouration or phasy artifacts or boosts -- in fact no compromises whatsoever, even at max! It also has the best EQ and Limiter Ive ever used, plays my FLAC files, and even outputs 24Bit 96kHz (or higher) files without downsampling through my external DAC. This app is robust, looks good, and sounds amazing! Since it is now the only music player Ill use, Id like to see a few more features added, like the ability to copy my Flac files to it via Cloud, UPnP or FTP (whereas, having to connect to my laptop every time I want to add a song is an inconvenience).

Brilliant app, use it every day...

This app is unique, accessible and appealing to the eye. The sound quality is brilliant, especially with headphones, and whenever I listen to music on here I know that Im getting the full experience. It is the opposite of awkward, everything is where it should be and my songs are ordered perfectly. I highly recommend this app to anyone who likes to listen to music, and is looking for something to improve that experience.

Great in the past — NO SOUND on 6s Plus

Absolutely loved the app on 5s with 9.2 but on new 6s+ theres no sound. Hope they fix it soon! DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE A 6S OR 6S PLUS!

Best iOS Player - Bar None

Not sure why my first (lengthy) review didnt make it thru, anyway... If youre into listening on your iOS device, look no further: CanOpener is your go-to player. Although it lacks the so-called "social" features (music is about your personal pleasure after all, isnt it?), the sound quality is simply stunning. I mean it, as an experienced sound-engineer, just like (or maybe less than) CanOpeners developers... "Crossfeed" allows you to mimic true speakers listening (namely "Modern Music" resembles the standard 30-degrees placement). And it does in a truly impressive way. "Pencil EQ" is a clean equalizer which allows to compensate your cans frequency response in detail, just in case your own model isnt already listed in the presets. Awesome. Its an in-app purchase, but definitely worth the money. Just as much as the "HiFi" add-on, adding dither bypass and high-quality sample rate conversion. The interface may look weird at first, but once you get used to it, you actually end up to love it, I think: optional pixelated artwork ("youll never guess what Im listening to, peeper!"), swipe and hold gestures and a buffer/seek spinning wheel all contribute to build an exciting music experience. The guys at GoodHertz built the (almost?) perfect iOS player. Just grab it. No excuse. Well... Unless your most sought-after feature in a player is to tweet what youre listening to instead of listening to it in a nicer way...
