Best sounding music app
When I think of 3D expansion enhancements, I think gimmick. There are many that clobber your ears with phase flips, heavy EQ filtering and bass/treble/bulk level boosts. While these might invoke an initial wow response, you wouldnt want to listen to your music like that for extended periods. It compromises fidelity and becomes fatiguing.
So I was very surprised when I tried CanOpeners Crossfeed effect and found that it had a satisfying widening effect with zero perceivable tonal colouration or phasy artifacts or boosts -- in fact no compromises whatsoever, even at max! It also has the best EQ and Limiter Ive ever used, plays my FLAC files, and even outputs 24Bit 96kHz (or higher) files without downsampling through my external DAC. This app is robust, looks good, and sounds amazing!
Since it is now the only music player Ill use, Id like to see a few more features added, like the ability to copy my Flac files to it via Cloud, UPnP or FTP (whereas, having to connect to my laptop every time I want to add a song is an inconvenience).
